2004 Multi-Table Championships Unveiled!

April 23, 2004--A total of 50 tables will be brought in for this massive event; 300+ players playing on all three tables, and incredible media exposure will ensure that this event shows the world that foosball is alive and well in Eastern Canada.
Multi-Table events will soon become the norm in Montreal, Quebec. On June 18th, 2004 professional and amateur foosball players will have the opportunity to compete, and try three different table types at the same tournament! Garlando, Bonzini, and Warrior in association with the QTSA will host the first ever “Multi-Table Foosball Championships.” This most prestigious foosball competition will be held at the spacious Greek Center Piloupi sports complex on June 18th-20th, 2004.
“Foosball is no longer just a ‘bar game,’ and is taken very seriously at the competitive level,” said QTSA founder and President, Adam Imanpoor. “This multi-table event will be the laying the foundation across Canada, and the world, to encourage participation of all tables types for hosting further multi-table events.”
The 2004 Multi-Table Foosball Championships will offer more than $30,000 in cash and prizes. Furthermore, the multi-table format offers players an opportunity to judge for themselves, which table better suits their skills, and which one offers them possibilities they never knew about.
“The QTSA has devised a unique opportunity to offer a venue where manufacturers, distributors, players, association representatives, and media can discuss the intricacies and subtleties of foosball; nothing beats a multi-table event,” said American and foosball ambassador, Sean Harding.
“By scheduling a multi-table event that will include players and international representatives from Europe, USA, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, and Montreal we are bound to have a variety of foosball enthusiasts unlike anything seen before," said QTSA Tournament Director, Denis Karastamatis.
30 Garlando tables, 10 Bonzini tables, and 10 Warrior tables will be on location to ensure a smooth tournament flow, as well as demonstrate to the world the unique situation that Quebec possesses for promoting the sport of foosball.
